X-TREME SPORTS CAMP offers a one-of-a-kind
opportunity if you are between the ages of 10 and 21 and are into extreme sports. The
6-day camp is designed specifically for youth with physical disabilities to explore their
potential and try things they thought were impossible. Not only will campers try many
different extreme sports activities, they will be instructed by world-class wheelchair
athletes and other professionals selected for their expertise and training.
X-TREME SPORTS CAMP is the collaborative effort of
three of Texas best rehabilitation hospitals. St. Davids Medical Center in
Austin, TIRR (The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research) in Houston and Warm Springs
Rehabilitation System in San Antonio are building on last years success to bring you
an annual X-TREME camping experience. Youth with disabilities such as spinal cord injury,
spina bifida, amputation, muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy are invited to attend.
Campers must be independent with all self-care including bowel and bladder, and must be
able to utilize a manual wheelchair for sports and recreation.

achieve at Camp For All, a place to experience the joy of the great outdoors
without barriers.

The Inflight
Dance Company is an integrated company incorporating able-bodied and wheelchair dancers.
At present, there are ten dancers which include five stand-up dancers and five seated
dancers.
Inflight is about movement
just for the pure joy of movement. It is not about perfect bodies and technique, or
uniformity of style. It is about dancers of all shapes and sizes expressing themselves in
their own way. It is all about integration of able-bodied and challenged dancers. Neither
part is "whole" without the other, nor complete without the other. The primary
focus of the Inflight Dance Company is to demonstrate that a disability is not a barrier
in the dance world.
